Warning: some spoilers in this review I believe that New York Times best selling author Nicholas Sparks is one of the only men in the world who could make cheating in a relationship sound like a romantically fantastic idea. Students, faculty and staff gathered in front of the West building on May 1, also known as May Day or International Workers day, in a composed, yet strong rally and teach-in against the war and the affects that it is having on U.S. citizens. The rally and teach-in, initiated by the Hunter Chapter of the Professional Staff Congress, the union that represents CUNY's faculty and staff, was part of an historic event.

There was a moment in Talib Kweli's much-hyped performance at Hunter where he paused to let the crowd recite his lyrics for him. CUNY's 2007 decision to raise the required cutoff for SAT and New York State Regents math scores went into effect this past admissions season, with a higher cutoff for SAT and New York State Regents verbal scores soon to follow.

I am quickly approaching that dreaded moment - I have only seconds to decide my next course of action.
As she nears me - I think I recognize her from one of my English classes sophomore year, don't I?
I am racked with indecision - do I smile, say hi or maybe decide it's the perfect time to pull out my cell phone and send a text? I become terribly interested with a bird hopping around on the Green, and the girl and I pass each other without a word.

April showers bring May flowers ... and trench coats? Yes, this spring, women are snapping up the classic trench and its modern offspring, jewel-toned trenches and coats with cropped hemlines. And the rise of the trench and other sartorial classics might not just be due to the rainy weather.
