I just want to take the time to mention a fabulous event that took place April 3, 2008. Illusions, Lehigh's 4th annual drag show, was a huge success. Eleven students and two professionals performed in five acts in what was one of the largest events in Lamberton Hall this year. More than 200 people attended, and together we raised over $200 for Turning Point of the Lehigh Valley.
I would like to thank all those who attended and to the members of Spectrum for putting on this outstanding event. It is disappointing The Brown and White does not include student events such as the drag show and the Vagina Monologues (which raised more than $11,000 for Turning Point of the Lehigh Valley) in their print edition.
In the future, The Brown and White should publish such events, which promote awareness and raise money for important community organizations.
Letters: B&W should acknowledge success of drag show
