Justine N. Unkle, 19, and Marie K. Gerbig, 18, of the 800 block of Monocacy Street, may face trial in Northampton County Court after allegedly stomping on a 21-year-old female student on Sept. 16, according to an article in The Express-Times.

The beating occurred at 12:25 a.m. in a parking lot on campus. The two women were charged with aggravated assault, conspiracy and simple assault among various other charges, according to The Express-Times.

They pleaded not guilty on Tuesday before District Judge Nancy Matos Gonzalez, but the judge bound all counts to county court.

According to court papers, the attack was a random act, and the teenagers were looking for someone to beat up.

Unkle and Gerbig remain in Northampton County Prison in lieu of $75,000 bail each.
