The idea of using student feedback to devise a 10-year plan for Lehigh is positive, but the Strategic Thinking Initiative needs to think of a more strategic plan to advertise and solicit this feedback. (3) comments

When black students meet someone new, they are often asked what sport they play, as if sports are the only reason a black student would attend Lehigh. When they walk into a party, they are often asked not to start trouble, as if black students are unable to have social interaction without it turning violent. This needs to change. (2) comments

Whether or not it was intentional, the cartoon by Lisa Luzzi, "Map for a successful St. Patrick's Day" (March 18, 2008) contained the phrase, "Wake up Jewish and protect your pot of gold," which is extremely offensive. (0) comments
